Your service types — used in appointments and online booking
Define the services you offer (e.g., Tuning, Regulation, Solenoid Cleaning). Duration in minutes is the default appointment length. Bookable controls whether clients can select it in online booking.
Travel & mileage — for round-trip deductions
IRS 2026 business rate is $0.725 / mile. Update each January.
Profit split — how each dollar of income is divided
Should total 100%. Defaults: 30 / 20 / 50.
Added on top of the invoice total when a client pays online — covers the card processing cost so the price you invoiced is what you actually keep. Shown as a separate line at checkout. Applies to invoices created from now on; already-issued payment links keep the rate they were created with.
Online payments — Stripe Connect
Checking…
Opens Stripe's onboarding — set up your own Stripe account so clients can pay your invoices online.
Reminders— automated client nudges
Sends once, roughly 45 days before a client's next tuning is due, and again every couple of weeks if they haven't booked — only to clients with an email on file. Also sends a one-time follow-up by email 30 days after you log a mailed postcard in Recall, unless they've already booked. Neither ever books anything on its own — every message asks the client to call or reply.
Find this in your Google Business Profile → "Ask for reviews." Required for review requests to send.
Message templates — use {name} for the client's first name, {business} for your business name, and {tech} for your name
Leave any field blank to use the default message. Your signature ({tech} · {business}) is added automatically.
Self-scheduling — let clients book online
When enabled, clients can book appointments through a shareable link. You can put this on your website, Google Business Profile, or anywhere else.
Available days
Existing appointments automatically block those time slots — no double-booking. Clients see available slots based on these settings plus your current calendar.
Google Business Profile
Paste your booking link into your Google Business Profile as your "Appointment URL" so clients can book directly from Google Search and Maps.
Backup & restore — your safety net
Download saves every client, piano, appointment, contact, transaction, follow-up, event, condition reading, planned expense, asset, and your invoice artwork to one file — keep it in Google Drive or Dropbox. Restore puts a backup file back into your database (records with the same ID are overwritten with the backup version).
App— version, updates & sync
Version
Reloads and pulls the newest version from the server. Use this after a new build is deployed.
Use only if a change is stuck in the queue and won't sync.
Integrations — third-party apps
When enabled, a ♫ Pianoscope button appears in the condition log so you can import tuning sessions directly from the Pianoscope app.
